The apple company u-turn as Mac manufacturer rejoins EPEAT green registry
The apple company has rejoined an ecological scores program a week after giving up the program.
The company released a mail on its site saying it had realized the move had been “a mistake” after many of its customers had reported. The u-turn follows an statement by San Francisco city authorities that they organized to ban local companies from buying The apple company Mac computer systems.
They said at the time that they expected The apple company would reevaluate.
Apple assisted set up the EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Evaluation Tool) computer pc personal computer computer system operating system in 2006. It is designed to recognize which technology present the least risk to the surroundings.
